Summer has long come. It is August now, and the world smelled of roses. The sunshine was like powdered gold over the skyscrapers of Beijing. And you, my friend, sitting in the office with AC on all day, wishing the sweet sweet summer will never end. So is your summer fling. 

For those big little feelings, let me present to you my favorite summer poetry "Summer for Thee, Grant I May Be," and... Jump to the fabulous ending "pray gather me, anemone, thy flower, forevermore!" Aside from the fling, summer is all about laziness, vacation, iced drinks, music (especially jazz, some organizer's favorite), dance, and social!

Beijing Foodies thusly finds you the fancy ballroom of a two-story red brick building in Shuangjing, near Guomao business center. The building is of 240㎡, and it will be totally for Foodie members. The stage is covered in dark turquoise velvet. Coffee, desserts, and all sorts of snacks can be provided. It also has a well-trimmed outdoor garden that will fit as the perfect background for your profile picture. So is the wall full of hand paintings that are trending in various social media platforms.       

To make the party more fun, Beijing Foodies invites two swing dance masters, Hammer & River, to provide swing dance instructions on-site. If you are interested, you are more than welcome to join in the dancing floor. We will find you the dance partner and let's swing together.  

Summertime should be singing with joy, even for the year of 2020. Come and twist with us!
